Curious Herbivore

Let's return to our Cro-Magnons, who are still struggling with their diet...

John-Cro and Magnon talk to the diplodocus. John-Cro: “Dee, won't you help us? We're starving.” Magnon: “It's not easy being vegan in this day and age...”
Dee replies: “You're putting too much pressure on yourselves. You could start with simple vegetarianism, like me.”
Magnon is surprised: “You? Aren't you a herbivore?” Dee clarifies: “Herbivore, but ovo-lacto-curious.” John-Cro: “What the heck is that?”
Dee explains: “If you have birds near your home, you can steal their unfertilized eggs. They're useless to them anyway.”
Magnon and John-Cro look at each other in silence, doubtful. A fly passes by.
Magnon asks: “Do we still have any dodos left, or have we already offed them all?” John-Cro is very embarrassed. Note: Comic strip licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on February 27, 2025 by Gee.
