Ethical Questions

Okay, now that we've properly met John-Cro & Magnon, it's time to introduce some new characters... and, well, change the style a little.

A prehistoric drawing, similar to those found in the Lascaux caves, depicting animals. A voice off-screen says: “Even if they don't look like us, these lovely creatures are very much alive...”
We see Magnon, still wearing her leopard-skin underwear, looking embarrassed as the voice continues: “Like us, they feel joy, fear, pleasure, pain...”
The same goes for John-Cro and his snake modesty cover. The voice: “So we have to ask ourselves: is it ethical to kill them for food or clothing?”
New shot of the drawings, this time showing animals in harmony with a big heart: “To ask the question is to answer it, and for my part, I took action and adopted a behavior more in line with my principles. How about you?”
Wide shot, it was a T-Rex giving this presentation. Proudly, he holds a cup of tea in his hand and says: “That's it for me. Thank you for attending my Trex Talk ‘From T-Rex to Tea-Rex, the story of a dietary shift’. By the way, I'm still looking for a vegan alternative to brachiosaurus.” People applaud.
Magnon and John-Cro walk away and take off their clothes. John-Cro, jaded: “Ugh, it's bad timing to invent ethics right after decency...” Magnon: "Yeah, well, I'll leave it to you to invent knitting now...” Note: Comic strip licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on October 18, 2024, by Gee.
