A Wish Well Spent

And so here is the first strip in this new series of 6-panel color comics titled “Frying Panels”. The episodes will be standalone and may take place in different settings from one strip to the next, covering a variety of themes: pop culture, left-wing humor, absurd situations, and parodies…

A street in ancient Persia. A homeless man says, “Hey, isn’t that good old Aladdin! What’s up, buddy?” Across from him, Aladdin replies: “Oh, not much, except that…”
Aladdin dramatically holds up his magic lamp and announces with pride: “I FOUND A GENIE WHO TURNED ME INTO A PRINCE!”
The other one says: “That’s so cool! Now you can pull your old bum buddies out of poverty!” Aladdin replies, all excited: “I’m mostly gonna hook up with the princess.”
Silence.
The other one, unimpressed: “Wow.”
Aladdin recovers: “But I mean, there’s nothing stopping me from slipping a little coin from…” The other guy: “Nah, whatever, I'd hate to ruin your hookup with my little problems. Aladdindividualist, right?” Note: Comic licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on March 9, 2026 by Gee.
