Amateur Posters

Aaaah, posters made by people who know nothing about graphic design… is it just me, or has something changed?

A man and a woman are walking around and laughing when they see a really ugly poster with WordArt fonts and clip art that reads, “Fitness Monsters, your new gym.” The man comments: “Whoooaaa, that poster is ugly!” The woman: “Is it even legal to use WordArt these days?”
Another poster of the same kind: “Music Festival, 6:00 p.m., Nowheresville City Hall.” The man: “Haha, Comic Saaaans!” The woman: “Call the font police!”
Another one, with very bright colors: “Big Fair, Louise Michel School, starting at 6:00 PM, Saturday the 20th.” The man: “Whoa, was this made with a CGA graphics card?!” The woman: “Don't show this to people with epilepsy… It’s a public health hazard.”
This time, it’s a poster clearly generated by AI for a bring and buy sale. The man: “That’s…” The woman raises an eyebrow, surprised.
Yet another one for a Summer Fair. The man looks jaded; the woman goes: “Hmm…”
One last AI-generated poster. The two characters are in the distance. The man: “You know what? I think I miss posters with Comic Sans MS and WordArt…” The woman: “Me too…” Note: Comic licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on September 2

Bonus timelapse

This comic was created entirely by hand using a Wacom graphics tablet and the open-source software Inkscape. The video below shows a timelapse of the comic's creation (recorded when making the French version of the comic).
