As Cold As Lyuba

Autumn has arrived for our prehistoric characters... and it's not the most pleasant time of year in terms of temperature (although it's not going to get any better).

John-Cro and Magnon are walking through the autumn countryside. Magnon: “Brrrr, it's as cold as Lyuba*...” The note (*) explains: “A mammoth traped in ice.”
John-Cro: “Those animal skins were handy for keeping warm, though.” Magnon: “Yeah, but we said we'd stop killing animals...” John-Cro, thoughtfully: “I know...”
John-Cro, suddenly enthusiastic, runs off in the opposite direction: “Wait, stay here! I have a great idea.”
Magnon, alone, scratches her head.
We see the velociraptor, panicked, running by, featherless, shouting: “PWAAK PWAAK PWAAAK!” Magnon is stunned.
John-Cro has a costume with feathers (oddly, with his willies still visible). Magnon looks at him with irritation. He says, “What? It's not dead.” Note: Comic strip licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on April 11, 2025 by Gee.
