After so many episodes, an old character returns... well, not quite.

John-Cro is still reading the newspaper. We hear Magnon calling him off-screen: “John-Cro! There's a lawyer at the door! He wants to talk to us!” John-Cro thinks : “A what now?”
The lawyer is the same character as the owner of the cave. He is at the door and says: “Hello, mister Cro.” John-Cro: “Hello. Um, haven't we met before?”
The lawyer says: “Not at all. The guy you're thinking of wore a green tie, whereas I wear a red tie, so it's completely different.” Magnon: “Subtle, though.”
The lawyer continues: “I have the unpleasant task of informing you that you are being served with an eviction notice for illegally occupying this property.” John-Cro: “Oh please, not that nonsense again!”
The lawyer leaves, saying: “If you have not vacated the premises within eight days, mammoth-assisted legal proceedings will be initiated.” Magnon and John-Cro remain silent. John-Cro whispers: “I don't understand...”
Magnon asks John-Cro: “What don't you understand? What a "lawyer" is?” John-Cro: “No. He said "vacate": how are we suppose to take a vacation if he takes away our home?” Note: Comic strip licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on July 31, 2025 by Gee.
