A Few Words
As I already mentioned last month, this month I'll be giving a lecture in Capitole du Libre (Toulouse, France). If you’re in the area, feel free to stop by and say hi! For once, I won’t have a booth (because, like an idiot, I forgot to request one), but I might snag a table here and there to sell a couple of books anyway…
Which, by the way, won't hurt financially, because to be honest, October's crowdfunding campaign raised particularly little… In fact, it was actually the “worst” month since I started the monthly crowdfunding campaigns. That said, I'm not taking it too hard: I know full well that times are tough, it's no coincidence that things are falling apart everywhere and that people here in France are protesting every Saturday against the high cost of living… and donating to independent art clearly isn't at the top of the famous hierarchy of needs.
But here's the thing: if you like what I do and can afford it, don't forget to support me, every little donation counts! ❤️
And I always say this, but if you can't afford to donate, I still have a huge gap to fill when it comes to getting the word out, so please share my posts. Visibility doesn't fill the fridge, but it can sometimes bring in extra donations… In fact, I haven't gotten much traction yet on the English-spoken social media platforms where I've been trying to establish a presence since this season, so don't forget to share all of this:
Thanks for your support, and see you soon, whether it's online or at the booths!
I regularly provide an update on my free-licensed artistic activities, the status of my crowdfunding efforts, my current projects, upcoming events where you can find me, and so on.
