Coma

Published on 25 June 2026 by Gee

Well, here’s a genre we haven’t covered yet: action movies with secret agents and really bad villains…

A man is lying in bed in a hospital room. A man who clearly looks like a spy movie villain says: “Three weeks in a coma… I was furious for not finishing you off, but I guess that was quite enough. Niark niark niark.”
The man wakes up: “Grrmmpph… Doctor Xork? How did…” The villain: “Wha the...?!”
The villain runs away: “Damnation! He’s back!” The man is now alert and gets ready to jump out of bed: “Wait a minute, you scoundrel!”
The agent collapses, screaming: “Aarrgh, my legs!” A nurse rushes over: “Sir! Please stay in bed!”
The man is slumped on the floor, feeling sick (“raaaaah…”). The nurse lectures him: “Now, now! You don’t just go running around like that right after coming out of a coma! You’ve lost all your muscle strength! And what about phlebitis? Have you thought about phlebitis?”
Later, the nurse pushes the agent—who looks jaded—into a wheelchair: “Anyway… don’t worry: after a few weeks of rest, physical therapy sessions, and not forgetting daily injections, you’ll be back to hunting down bad guys like a youngster!” Note: Comic licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on June 22, 2026, by Gee.
