Follow this planet!

Let’s go back to the fabulous world of science fiction, specifically sci-fi featuring multiple inhabited planets…

In a futuristic spaceship, a man arrives all excited and exclaims, “We’ve located Xebonork, our sworn enemy!” His co-pilot replies: “Xebonork? Where is he?”
We see a map of a galaxy. The man points: “There! On Grôtouine, the rocky planet!” The woman replies: “Let’s go!”
A few hyperspace jumps later… The ship has landed, and the two characters are outside. The woman says: “Okay. We’re here. Grôtouine. So, where is Xebonork?”
The man replies: “Well, he’s there. On this planet, I mean.” The woman: “Can’t you be more specific?” The man: “Umm, no.”
Silence.
The woman remarks: “I mean, the surface area is a few hundred million square kilometers.” The man replies: “I assumed there’d just be a small town with a single tavern where we could ask the locals…” The woman remarks: “You might have been a tad optimistic on this one.” Note: Comic licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on May 11, 2026, by Gee.
