Time Location

It’s a classic time-travel scenario: you find yourself in another era, sure… but where?

In a lab, three characters: two scientists (a man behind a console and a woman) and a man in a toga. The scientist woman: “Johnson, are you ready to go down in history as the first time traveler?” The man, standing at attention: “Affirmative, ma’am!”
The scientist man presses a button and says: “Here we go! You’ll find yourself in exactly the same place, but 3,000 years in the past…” A halo envelops the man in the toga.
The man in the toga appears in the middle of space.
He writhes, unable to breathe.
He has died of asphyxiation in space.
Back in the lab, the scientist woman asks, “Hey, I just had a thought… did we take into account the fact that Earth has moved over the past 3,000 years?” The other one: “Umm…” Note: Comic licensed under CC BY-SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on March 26, 2026, by Gee.
