Misjudgment

Published on 7 May 2026 by Gee

I’ll tell you what: I think movie characters are way too quick to judge other people’s health…

April 15, 1912, somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean… A scene from Titanic where Rose is lying on the door, with Jack clinging to the water beside her. Rose cries as she realizes Jack is dead: “Jack? Jack? Jaaack?!”
Rose pushes Jack’s body away, crying: “I won't let go, I promise…”
Jack wakes up and struggles: “Hey… but… HEEYY! I was only asleep, I…”
Jack drowns with a “splash”; we only see his hand coming out of the water. Rose is stunned.
Jack has sunk. Rose stands speechless, realizing her mistake.
Rose, now an old woman, tells the Heart of the Ocean “And so, well, he had frozen to death, there you go, hahaha! What a story, huh? I could use a little drink, couldn’t you?” Note: Comic licensed under CC BY SA (grisebouille.net), drawn on April 1, 2026 by Gee.
